The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and a willingness to float to Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) units as needed.Responsibilities:--- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of care plans.--- Float to Med Surg units as required, demonstrating versatility and teamwork.--- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.--- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.--- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.--- Respond to emergency situations with swift and effective interventions.--- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education to enhance professional development.Required:--- Current RN license in the state of Arizona.--- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.--- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.--- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.--- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.--- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.--- Travel nursing experience is required.vTech Healthcare Job ID #29910.
